Academic Education (AE)
Instructional Level: Intermediate
Within audiology literature, published clinical case reports, or case studies are rare. Case reporting serves as a training mechanism for junior medical clinicians, enhances learning and stimulates research. This training session will explain the principles of case structure and description, including preparation techniques. We also provide a brief overview of the process for submission of case study manuscripts to biomedical journals. We hope to inspire audiologists to ‘write up’ an interesting case after attending this learning module.
