Patient “Julia,” an 11-year-old female, has a diagnosis of bilateral maximal conductive hearing loss and canal stenosis secondary to Crouzon’s Syndrome. She was previously fit with a Baha softband device and is now seen for a SoundArcfitting. In addition to audiological considerations, socioemotional factors and perceived image are important considerations to the success of the fitting. This case discusses the management options for BAHA fittings, including aided outcome and subjective measures.
