The purpose of this study was to investigate the capabilities of machine learning in the detection of a Frequency Following Response (FFR). By utilizing the MATLAB Classification Learner App, recordings with 8000 sweeps from 25 Chinese adults were fed into 23 different machine-learning algorithms to detect the presence of an FFR. Results indicated that a majority of the machine-learning algorithms provided efficient and accurate predictions in whether an FFR was present or absent in a recording.
