Melinda C Anderson, PhD is an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in the Department of Otolaryngology and serves as the Director of Audiology for University of Colorado Health. She leads the Hearing, Acoustics, and Perception Laboratory (HAP Lab) at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. In addition to her research and clinical work, she teaches in the graduate audiology program at University of Colorado, Boulder. Dr. Anderson’s primary research interests include exploring how individuals with hearing loss use their hearing aids and/or cochlear implants. This path of work includes clinical outcomes, sound quality perception, the interaction between outcomes and cognition, and the impact of age and memory status on speech perception.
