I am conducting research on three projects currently. One is based on reinforcement learning and its impact on the cognitive Stroop effect using EEG. The other is to study the impact of meditation music on EEG, breathing, Galvanic Skin Response measures and the visual complexity matching of the above signals. The project for the presentation is EEG based measuring the Auditory Late Response in Tinnitus patients before, during and after reinforcement based treatment that trains the neighboring to the tinnitus frequency to pick up the normal function of the potentially damaged hair cells related to the tinnitus pitch. This lateral based inhibition approach to modulate tinnitus is fairly new and we are testing to see the impact on Tinnitus patients.
