Suicide Prevention Initiative: Panel Discussion and Town Hall Event

Sunday, October 28
2:45 PM - 3:45 PM
Location: Tangerine WF4

Suicide is the tenth leading cause of death in the US and the second leading cause of death among young people ages 10 to 24. Although other diseases have seen death rates decline in recent years, suicide rates have risen. Join members of the Psych Congress Steering Committee, expert panelists, and your peers to tackle this issue head on. Brainstorm collectively to help Psych Congress develop an educational initiative to ensure you and your peers have the tools and training you need to better predict and prevent suicide in your patients. Our ultimate goal at Psych Congress is to make sure we are addressing the needs of our attendees and to ensure we are doing everything we can to help you manage and treat your patients successfully. We encourage you to participate in this session and be a part of the change.
