Location: Tangerine WF2

Behavioral addictions—what we used to call impulse-control disorders—are common, and yet most clinicians have little education in the assessment and treatment of these disorders. This session will review the conceptual category of behavioral addictions and which disorders are included. This session will also discuss clinical features of behavioral addictions and differential diagnosis of these behaviors. Dr. Grant will review evidence-based treatment approaches to behavioral addictions, including psychopharmacologic and psychological treatments.
