Business Objective: Networking
Topic Area: Attendee (Visitor) Matchmaking Software
Brella is a simple, effective matchmaking and meeting scheduling software suitable for all event attendees, from visitors to exhibitors to sponsors. Established in Finland in 2016, we are used in more than 40 countries and have offices in New York and San Francisco.
Every event can benefit from facilitated networking, no matter the industry. Wherever people need to meet and do business, Brella ensures the best connections for everyone attending.
We offer the best networking software in the industry. With so many like-minded people at events, it should be simple to find the right people. However, that rarely was the case.
We focus 100% on networking and ensuring everyone at your event – from your attendees to your sponsors – get the most from it.
Exhibitors want to find the best clients and attract them to their products- Sponsors want to improve their ROI and offer their solutions to those who need it- Visitors want to grow their business networks, find interesting vendors and solutions to their problems- Event organizers want to give everyone an incredible and worthwhile event experience
Brella helps all of them meet their goals by focusing on the common desire – meeting people and making new connections.
Brella is a networking software available on the web or as an app for iOS and Android devices. Users can log in using a social media authentication, like LinkedIn or Google, or create a new Brella account in minutes.
Once they are invited into the event space, they finish their event profile by choosing interests tailored to each event. These seekings and offerings are used by our robust algorithm to offer the most relevant matches to each attendee.
After that, it’s a simple process to book meetings for the event with their top matches. Once a meeting is accepted, they can chat and discuss an agenda for the short meeting. Organizers can create a detailed schedule for the event using Brella and choose available networking times around their planned sessions so no one has to miss a thing.
Anyone attending an event using Brella can benefit, from attendees to staff to sponsors. With a personalized list of matches, users can easily find new leads, clients, hires, jobs and more. Then, they’re able to meet them at the event to start that relationship while the interest and emotion is highest.
The need for prospecting before the event is eliminated, as well as the need for external lead retrieval software. Users can bookmark interesting parties that they were unable to meet at the event and save their profile, keeping their name and contact information so they can meet at a later time.
Exhibitors can use Brella to find interested clients for their products and meet them 1-on-1 at the event, beginning the sales process.Sponsors can mix broad brand awareness with personal engagement with new potential clients or other interested parties.Attendees can grow their business networks and find the people they need at your event.Organizers gather valuable, actionable data on attendee interests to really know what attendees want.
Everyone participating at an event can benefit from Brella.
Case Study Information:
Two notable recent events using Brella were Finovate Spring 2018 (Informa Event) and Google Cloud Next ’18.
Finovate Spring 2018, an event dedicated to showing cutting-edge tech in the fintech industry, used Brella for the first time to allow startups to meet with investors, industry leaders to meet with interested parties and much more. The event organizers were able to drive 400 attendees to the platform, where they arranged nearly 700 meetings.
This was incredibly valuable to both the event organizers and attendees, as they have many experts in the fintech field willing to give advice and find new investments. Startups could find the best investors and vice versa, driving huge return for both parties.
After the event, the event organizers gained valuable data on the most popular interests that attendees searched for and what interests gathered the most meeting requests. This sort of data allows them to improve their next event, tailoring their content and ideas to what their attendees actually want. No need to watch trends – they have all the data they need already.
At Google Cloud Next ’18 in San Francisco, Google partnered with Brella to bring a great networking experience to their attendees this July. 812 users signed up and booked 950 meetings, with 93% of those meetings booked before the event began.
As well, Google received valuable data about the attendee interests, like the most popular and most common interests. This gave them real insight into what their attendees wanted, giving them a head start on improving their next event. As well, they were able to examine the data to ensure their ideas of what their attendees wanted aligned with reality. They can compare this data to future events in different locations to gain a broad picture of the industry.
