Attendee acquisition is one of the most critical objectives of any exhibition organizer. But for most of the last decade, exhibition marketers have relied on a relatively small number of technologies to drive prospects to the registration button. That situation is rapidly changing as new technologies for scaling communications, targeting attendee segments, leveraging influencers, and retargeting online advertisements (among others) have emerged. This session will provide an overview of the leading technologies (not necessarily the technology providers)—the benefits, costs, and mechanics.
The first part of the presentation will include a panel moderated by Dahlia El Gazzar of DAHLIA+ Agency. Panelists will include one technology subject matter expert (supplier) and one marketing practitioner (organizer) to discuss the technologies. The second part will be a small group breakout in which subject matter experts on specific technologies will staff a number of roundtables and field questions in an #Ask Me Anything format.
