A native of the country´s capital, Mexico City, however due to academic pursuits, self-exiled to obtain a medical degree at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara (Hon. 2000), and later internship and urology residency at the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutriology (2008) affectionately known as the INNSZ, followed by an Endourology fellowship at Western University in Canada (under J. Denstedt/H. Razvi), since 2010 attending urologist and day surgery clinic coordinator at the INNSZ in Mexico City currently pursuing research in in urinary lithiasis and ureteral stents.
In academia he has authored 27 peer reviewed papers and 12 book chapters.
Member of the Mexican, Canadian, American and Endourological societies, and the Union of Concerned Scientist
