Chandru P. Sundaram, MD, is the Dr. Norbert and Louise Welch Professor of Urology and Director of the Residency Program and Minimally Invasive Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine. After graduating from Madras Medical College, he trained in surgery and urology in India and England before completing his residency at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and a fellowship in Boston. He began his academic urologic career at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, where he directed an Endourological Society-recognized fellowship. In 2002, Dr. Sundaram established a fellowship and program in minimally invasive surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine. He has been recognized with teaching awards from both Washington University and Indiana University. He has been a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England since 1989. Dr. Sundaram's areas of interest include minimally invasive surgery of the kidney, prostate and adrenal gland. He has authored or co-authored more than 150 articles in peer-reviewed journals.

He is the Treasurer Elect of the Endourological Society and is the chair of its fellowship committee. He is the founding Senior Editor of Videourology and serves as board member and assistant editor of the Journal of Endourology. He is on the board of directors of the American Urological Association. Dr. Sundaram has held multiple other leadership positions, including president of the American Urological Association's North Central Section, the Indiana Urologic Association and the Society of Urological Robotic Surgeons. In addition, he has been the chairman of the AUA's Laparoscopy, Robotic and New Surgical Technology Committee; and has served on the AUA's Education Council. Dr. Sundaram has been an invited faculty at numerous international meetings and institutions around the world.

Oner Sanli

Oner Sanli; MD was born in Ankara in 1974. He earned his degree as “medical doctor” in 1998. Subsequently, he began his residency training at the Department of Urology, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul University in 1999 and worked in various subdiciplines of Urology during his residency training. He presented his thesis entitled as “The relationship between SLC34A2 gene located at the 4p15.3-4p1 and testicular microlithiasis” and got his title as “Specialist of Urology” after giving the final academic and profession examination successfully in 2004. Meanwhile, he passed European Urology Board examination in 2008 and became FEBU. Consequently, he was awarded as Associate Professor of Urology in June 2011 by the Inter-University Council of Turkey and Professor of Urology in 2017 by Istanbul University.
Dr. Sanli was the recipient of a scholarship given by a pharmaceutical company to be trained in urologic laparoscopic applications in the Department of Urology at the University of Michigan in 2005. After this initial experience, he got the opportunity to improve his laparoscopic skills in the Heilbronn Urology Clinic at Heildelberg University in 2008 through the scholarship given by European Urological Association. In addition to his achievements in clinical field such as starting a laparoscopic surgery programme, Dr. Sanli has participated scientific projects both on clinical and basic research in the field of urooncology. His last international experience was at University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center through Semptember 2016 to January 2018. During this period, he studied mainly in urooncology, in particular bladder cancer.
Dr. Sanli has over 90 international publications and pursuing his academic career especially on urooncology and laparoscopic urology topics. Besides of being a member of European Association of Urology and World Endourological Society Dr. Sanli is also an active member of the Turkish Association of Urology and Turkish Endourology Society.
