New Surgical Therapies for BPH

Saturday, September 22
5:15 PM - 6:15 PM
Location: Room 251

Manifold alternatives to classic transurethral treatment procedures of the prostate with electrical sources or lasers have been introduced over the past decades. But only few of them did actually stand the test of time. In this course emerging technologies are introduced and discussed, such as dilation devices, injections, removal devices, embolization, and laparoscopic/ robotic adenomectomy.
Which of those procedures are here to stay?
