The course will provide practical instruction on all technical aspects of PCNL including patient positioning, access, stone fragmentation and removal and exit strategies. Variations on traditional approaches to PCNL including minimal dilation, novel lithotripsy methods and ambulatory PCNL will be discussed.

1999.2006 urological residency at the Medical University of Vienna Austria under the direction of Prof. Michael Marberger.
2007-2010 consultant urologist and head of the stone- and endourology center at the dept. of Urology in Bolzano, Italy under direction of Prof. A. Pycha.
2008 graduation with professoral thesis at the Medical University of Vienna.
2010-2013 implementation of the robotic surgery program at St. Johns of God Hospital, Vienna Austria under the direction of Prof. Paul Schramek
Since 2013 consultant urologist at the Dept. of Urology at the Medical Univ. of Vienna under the direction of Prof. Shahrokh Shariat.
Since 2014 Vice Chairman at the Dept. of Urology at the Medical Univ. of Vienna.
My research interests focus on urolithiasis and uro-oncology (prostate, renal and urothelial cancer). I am member of the Austrian working Group on urolithiasis, the Austrian working group on laparoscopy and gender medicine and head of the Austrian working group on diagnostic imaging in Urology and the German working group on Urolithiasis. I am member of the European Guideline Panel on Urolithiasis, the European Urolithiasis Society (eULIS) the International Alliance on Urolithiasis (IAU) and the Urological International Collaboration on Endourology (UroICE).

Iam a member in the European urological association, the world congress of the Endourology, the Egyptian urological association, the Arab urological association. Iam also a Consultant Endourology & Minimally Invasive Surgery , The head of the Endourology Section – Egyptian Urological Association , International Associate Member (EULIS) European Section of Urolithiasis. Iam organizing a yearly Teaching courses in RIRS and PCNL in Egypt. I had also a yearly presentations in the EUA.
