Tim Latta has nine years of experience in the payments industry, specializing in eCommerce and Payment Facilitation. Since first joining First Data and the payments industry in 2008 and focusing on eCommerce, Tim has spent the last four years helping develop First Data’s new Global Payment Facilitation program. Today, he works with a wide range of Payment Facilitators, from start-ups learning the business model to existing global aggregators, in addition to regular corporations requiring international merchant processing.
Prior to joining First Data, Tim spent 14 years in professional soccer as General Manager of the MISL World Champion San Diego Sockers and Kansas City Wizards of Major League Soccer. He also worked World Cup ’94 hosted by the United States.
Following his education at San Diego State where he studied Speech Communication and Broadcast Management, he was with local San Diego radio station KGB-FM as a weekend air personality and worked in Promotions & Marketing.
