Mr. Brooks is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) with over twenty years of experience in the security field with an emphasis on Enterprise Information Security Programs, Penetration Testing, IDS/IPS Technology, and Security Compliance implementation/maintenance (PCI-DSS, ISO27000, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.). Mr. Brooks’ experience includes Fortune 1000 customers, State and Local Government as well as Federal Government, Military and Intelligence Agencies.

Larry Brennan

Larry Brennan, Senior Vice President, Merchant Data Security and Cybersecurity Director

Larry Brennan serves as the Senior Vice President of Merchant Data Security and Cybersecurity Director for Bank of America Merchant Services, responsible for ensuring that BAMS clients and associates are provided the tools and resources to prevent or react in the event of a data breach or cybersecurity attack. In this role Brennan’s team works with merchants in the event of an Account Data Compromise ensuring that merchants are able to identify, contain and remediate any Account Data Compromise they may endure. He is also responsible for ensuring that Merchants, Sales and Relationship teams are provided proper guidance in regards to the Merchants Data Security requirements through webinars and Cybersecurity presentations.
Brennan previously held the role of Site Leader for the Bank of America Merchant Services Inside Sales Team where he was responsible for more than 100 Merchant Services Telesales Representatives supporting two lines of business which included the staffing, developing and training Sales representatives responsible for selling Merchant Services products and services to Small Business customers via the telephone.
Larry has over 19 years of financial services industry experience (17) of which has been in the Merchant Service and prior to working for Bank of America Merchant Services retired from the Navy after 22 years of service.

Gary Glover is the Vice President of Assessments at SecurityMetrics and holds QSA (Qualified Security Assessor), PA-QSA (Payment Application Qualified Security Assessor), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), and CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) security certifications. Gary has worked in the IT security industry as a QSA for over 10 years.  Before that, Gary spent 10+ years in as a software engineer at Novell, McDonnell Douglas, and other startups. Gary is the author of two US patents, and received a Masters of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University.

Marc Punzirudu

Marc Punzirudu is a subject matter expert in IT security and compliance best practices. As Director of Security Consulting Services (SCS) for ControlScan, Marc oversees the company’s Proactive Attack Simulation Services (PASS) and Risk and Compliance Management (RCM) delivery teams. These teams provide both IT security risk and compliance services (PCI DSS, HIPAA, ISO 2700k) and simulated real-world attack services, such as penetration testing, social engineering, and more.

Marc’s areas of expertise include information security, technology risk assessment and risk management, operations management, application development, payment card compliance implementation, infrastructure security, and much more. Within the payments industry, his specializations are both direct merchant (such as hospitality and retail) and merchant acquiring/card processing organizations.

Marc is the Immediate Past President for the SC Midlands Chapter of ISACA and hosts educational speaking events with many associations surrounding industry relevant security topics. He also holds a degree in Business Finance from St. Leo University, a BS Computer Science and a BS Computer Engineering from the University of South Florida. He also holds multiple certifications and credentials, including PCIP, CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP and PCI-QSA.
