This presentation covers questions to ask and diagnostics to perform in interpreting why a dog or cat may be a hard to control diabetic. Focus will be given to specific diseases that lead to insulin resistance in each species, when to suspect them based on signs, how to diagnose and treat those diseases to optimize diabetic control.
