Stories are everywhere about hackers and problems companies are experiencing around cybersecurity. What many don’t know is the hackers in many cases aren’t as smart as you might think. In this session, we will review why individuals are at the heart of a good security program and how you and your fellow employees can provide the best line of defense to protect your company or your own personal interests from the evolving world of cybercrime. We'll also discuss the impact of running part or all of your systems in the cloud and how to evolve your approach to security.

Learning Objectives:

• Understand why strong security starts with each employee and is not just an IT challegne to resolve. Hear examples why engaging every employee to own security matters.
• Learn the different roles IT, functional departments, and Executive play in a strong security program.
• Listen and share stories companies have experiened with security breaches and learn how to prevent them by starting with education from within.
