There is a lot of buzz and confusion surrounding the GDPR. In this session, you will learn the fundamental principles of the Regulation, get an overview of the individual rights, and learn what kinds of responsibilities fall upon organizations that control and process personal data. We will touch upon the principles of Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default, and what these might mean in an enterprise context.

From cybersecurity risk management and privacy impact assessments, through security processes and procedures, to security architecture and technologies, I believe security comes down to the old adage "People, Process, and Technology". Out of these, People is the most important, as you cannot apply processes and technologies correctly without the right People and competences.

I currently work as the CISO and DPO at Innofactor Plc, with the broad perspective of developing organizational security and privacy practices.
