339733 - Direct Design of Masonry with BIM

Friday, April 20
9:30 AM - 10:30 AM
Location: 202A

Masonry design has been simplified with the introduction of the Direct Design standard (TMS-403), further simplified with software to implement that standard, and recently made even more efficient by enhancing that software with support for BIM. This session will overview how these initiatives have improved the appeal of masonry as a construction alternative and demonstrate the ability of the software to quickly design a fully code-compliant masonry building and share model information via an import/export link with Autodesk Revit.
