We’re seeing the cybersecurity skills gap widen each year. The complexity of this problem is rooted in recruiting and retention challenges, unskilled workers and a lack of diversity in the field. In this session, we’ll briefly explore these problems and discuss how partnerships between government, industry and academia can help us achieve a highly-skilled, expertly-trained cyber workforce.

Deputy Manager for National Security Systems
National Security Agency

Ms. Marianne Bailey serves as Deputy National Manager for National Security Systems at the National Security Agency (NSA). This position is delegated by the Director of the NSA and is directly responsible for all National Security Systems across the government containing classified and/or sensitive information critical to military and intelligence activities. She brings more than 30 years of experience in government leadership, spear-heading information technology security and information sharing initiatives across the Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, and government sectors.
