A well-documented worldwide cybersecurity skills shortage has organizations desperately seeking qualified workers. To address the workforce gap, academia and training organizations must develop cybersecurity professionals to ensure they possess today's and tomorrow's required skills. By augmenting existing programs with skills-based training and performance assessments utilizing a cyber range, we focus on specific solutions by blending traditional programs with experiential learning.

Ms. Montgomery founded her business in 1985 with the early introduction of PCs. Over the past 32 years, her company has evolved and morphed to a leader in global cybersecurity workforce development. Today Cyber World Institute delivers training and education globally through business and academic partnerships. Authorized by four of the five global credentialing bodies ISC2, EC-Council, ISACA, and CompTIA, CWI is changing the workforce development paradigm by delivering experiential based learning with cyber range labs. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the NICE – National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education, a DHS/NIST initiative, leading the Training and Certification Working Group.
