An expert in Solar PV inspections, Mr. Saporite has overseen the completion of nearly 30,000 field PV installation inspections, and more than 10,000 desktop reviews in the past seven years while leading IBTS’s Solar Quality Management Program. Through these inspections, IBTS—an independent third party—has composed data including commonly found deficiencies and the percentages that these deficiencies are found on Solar PV installations. This information is used to develop trainings targeted at reducing common points of failure and maximizing profitability. Benefits of a true Quality Management program are increased investor confidence, lower cost of acquisition, better fleet management through reduction of failures and associated costs, and overall process management for a more competitive future.
