El punto de Interconexión - Conozca la Sección 705.12 del NEC

El punto de interconexión de un sistema fotovoltaico a la red es un tema sumamente debatido, y hasta controversial en algunas jurisdicciones. En esta lección de una hora haremos un repaso de los requisitos del NEC® relacionados al punto de interconexión (PDI). Estudiaremos las diferentes opciones de PDI, y las limitaciones de dimensionamiento del sistema FV con base en acometidas existentes. Hablaremos de temas como interconexión del lado de la alimentación o del lado de la carga, y la muy importante "Regla del 120%" para interconexión en tableros de distribución. Únase a nosotros en esta hora de conversación sobre el NEC, y de paso llévese una pincelada de lo que vienen en el nuevo curso de Solar Energy International en español: FV202 - Diseño Avanzado de Sistemas FV.

Karo Fernández is from Costa Rica and has always been passionate about renewable energies. Her career in photovoltaic energy began in 2009, after graduating as a Mechanical Engineer from the University of Costa Rica. After leading the installation of what was then the largest PV system in Costa Rica, she worked for the private sector on PV market development at a regional level, and on design, installation and inspection of PV systems. She has worked as a consultant since 2011, and since 2013 she´s dedicated a big part of her work to the non-profit sector through Solar Energy International (SEI), while keeping her company running as specialized third-party PV inspection, commissioning and performance verification for the Latam PV industry. For SEI, Karo works as an instructor in the English and Spanish programs, as well as developing curriculum and translations specifically for SEI's Spanish Program.
