As battery technology advances and costs decline, the use of energy storage paired with residential PV systems is increasing rapidly. This is especially true in markets where net metering is being rolled back, time of use rates are being implemented, and in regions prone to natural disasters. In this one-hour training, you’ll learn about different use case for residential energy storage, from battery-backup to more advanced applications such as demand shaving and load shifting. We will also discuss options for system configuration and battery technology. The discussion will focus on behind the meter, residential energy storage systems.
