Sharon joined SEPA in 2018. She is responsible for developing research content on a variety of distributed energy resource (DER) topics, specifically for SEPA’s 51st State Perspectives and Beyond the Meter series. Prior to joining SEPA, Sharon worked at the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) on DER, smart grid, and critical infrastructure protection topics. Sharon holds a master’s degree in public policy from George Washington University with a concentration in energy policy, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan with majors in political science and organizational studies.
