Kevin Gresham, VP Government Relations & External Affairs for E.ON North America, LLC, has extensive electric industry experience. Mr. Gresham directs E.ON’s governmental relations, federal and state regulatory activities, and public affairs across North America. He recently served on the United States Department of Commerce’s Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee and serves on the ERCOT Board of Directors representing the Independent Generator Segment. In addition, he serves as Chair of the Solar Energy Industries Association’s Federal Affairs Committee, on The Wind Coalition’s Executive Committee and participates in the American Wind Energy Association’s (AWEA) legislative, public affairs and transmission committees. Gresham also serves on the North American Generator Forum Board of Directors. Prior to joining E.ON, he was Director of RTO Policy for RRI Energy where he was involved in PJM, MISO, California and the West.

John Marciano is a member of the firm’s global project finance group. He focuses on providing tax, legal and commercial advice in relation to the development, financing, purchase, and sale of energy and infrastructure projects.

John regularly advises clients on capital-raising and deployment strategies involving these assets, with particular emphasis on addressing issues related to financing portfolios of assets. He works for a wide range of clients, primarily in connection with solar, wind, geothermal, fuel cell and biomass projects, and their development, ownership and financing. He is the editor of a renewable power tax credit reference guide that is a must-have resource for practitioners, project developers, financiers and government officials.

He is a frequent speaker on debt and equity structuring issues related to renewable power and aviation assets. John is ranked in Chambers and the Legal 500, the Chairman of the SEIA Tax Committee and on the Law360 Project Finance Advisory Board.

Ashley Patterson

Ashley Patterson is Vice President, Government Relations & Public Policy for Ameresco, Inc. (NYSE: AMRC), a leading publicly-traded energy service company in North America specializing in energy efficiency, renewable energy and infrastructure solutions.

Since 2010, Ashley has managed Ameresco’s federal and state government affairs and advocacy. Based in Washington, D.C., she represents the company on industry, legislative, executive and regulatory matters. Ashley specializes in the development of policy in support of energy efficiency, energy savings performance contracting and distributed energy. She also specializes in energy tax policy and federal energy programs involving third-party financing, including programs administered by the U.S. Department of Energy and the Department of Defense.

Prior to joining Ameresco, Ashley was a Congressional staffer in the U.S. House of Representatives and previously worked as television news producer covering the White House and the Congress for the Washington Bureau of Belo Corp. Previously, Ashley worked as a Massachusetts State House reporter for the WCAI Cape and Islands NPR station. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications and a Master of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University.
