Karin Wadsack leads a number of clean energy research and education initiatives at Northern Arizona University. Her work ranges from clean energy policy and technical assistance for the Native American tribes in her region to production cost modeling of the power system. She has led a number of undergraduate and K-12 energy research projects and education initiatives in Arizona, and manages a wind energy policy project in the Four Corners region. She also teaches classes in NAU's master's program in Climate Science & Solutions. She is completing her PhD in Fall 2018; her research focuses on energy storage, climate change and air quality regulation in the desert Southwest.
