Icagen Exhibitor Tutorial: Validation, Optimization, and Miniaturization of Difficult Assays for HTS: A Case Study

Tuesday, February 6
9:30 AM - 10:15 AM
Location: Room 2

Icagen’s ultra High Throughput Screening (uHTS) facility in Tucson, Arizona faces many hurdles- as is common industry-wide- when developing and validating high throughput screening assays. Assay miniaturization is desirable because significant time and cost savings can be realized, but difficult assays involving kinetic read outs, small assay window, detection modality limitations, and other challenges can be problematic. This tutorial will use case studies to highlight strategies to address some of these obstacles.
