The advanced course will expand into advanced areas many of which are leading-edge applications or expansions of current technology. These will include high throughput screening, advanced multiparameter analysis, spectral technologies, cell sorting and clinical and environmental (microbial) applications for example. This course will provide the audience with a strong background level of understanding of the technology, current limitations, and the future opportunities.

J. Paul Robinson is the SVM Professor of Cytomics, and Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University, West Lafayette, USA. He is the author of over 160 peer reviewed papers, 30 book chapters, the editor of 9 books and has given over 130 international presentations and holds seven issued US patents. He has mentored over 80 graduate students and many postdoctoral fellows during his career. Several technologies from his laboratory including the ELS technology have been commercialized.
