PUGML07 - Working with M Parameters and Functions in Power BI

Tuesday, April 24
17:30 - 18:30
Room: Liffey Hall 2

Level: Intermediate
Presentation Type: Presentation

Parameters are an extremely useful feature of the Power BI Query Editor. In this session you'll learn how they can be used to switch your queries from using one data source to another, how they can be used to control filtering and other transformations, and how they can be used with templates to make it easy for other users to create new Power BI reports. You'll also see how they can be used to create functions without writing any M code, and how these functions can in turn be used to apply the same filters and transformations across multiple data sources.
