Jo Ann Henry, LATG, CPIA is Assistant Director for the NYU (New York University) School of Medicine and Langone Health's IACUC. Jo Ann started her career in Veterinary Technology in clinical practice. Her career in biomedical research has included positions in veterinary nursing, management, training and compliance.

I have been working in research compliance at the University of Washington (UW) since 2012. In that time I have been involved in: the administrative review of IACUC protocols and follow-on submissions, the review of grant submissions, ensuring timely review of submissions, several process improvement (Lean) projects, the customization, implementation, and maintenance of UW's electronic IACUC solution, and most recently have taken over responsibility for all interinstitutional agreements, memorandums of understanding (MOUs), and interinstitutional assurances involving vertebrate animals at UW.
