Immunometabolism and Obesity

3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Location: Ballroom C

Dysfunctions in immune responses including increased inflammation is an underlying basis for many chronic diseases. The proposed symposium will discuss metabolic tissue and systemic inflammation in obesity, including adipose tissue function. Presentations will also integrate recent research on microbiome, obesity, and inflammation. Very few other conferences have brought together these interrelated topics in immunity, obesity, inflammation, microbiome, and diet.
