One hundred percent fruit juice plays an important role in helping Americans meet the recommended fruit group daily servings, particularly for toddlers and young children. According to consumption data, young children are the only group meeting the Dietary Guideline fruit recommendations due to a combination of both juice and whole fruit intake. How does 100% juice impact health? What are the long-term implications of 100% fruit juice consumption in children? What does the science say about 100% juice’s contribution to overweight and obesity, especially in children? Explore new and current research, uncover gaps in data and find out where research is headed in the future.
