Sarah A. Mbaeyi, MD, MPH

Dr. Sarah Mbaeyi is a board-certified pediatrician who has worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) since 2011. Dr. Mbaeyi currently serves as a medical epidemiologist in the Meningitis and Vaccine Preventable Diseases Branch (MVPDB), where she is the CDC lead for the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) Meningococcal Vaccines Work Group. Dr. Meyer completed her medical and master’s of public health degrees from Saint Louis University, pediatrics residency at the Boston Combined Residency Program in Pediatrics through the Schools of Medicine at Harvard University and Boston University, and the Epidemic Intelligence Service fellowship at CDC.
