This session introduces the Embedded Measures Rubric, a tool that can be used by teachers to identify gifted potential in culturally, linguistically, and economically diverse student populations. The tool was developed by Project ExCEL, a Jacob Javits grant recipient; researchers share how the rubric can be implemented as a talent development tool and incorporated as supplementary evidence in traditional screening processes.
