Pamela Barrett is an experienced international education professional, Director of Barton Carlyle, a specialist international education management consultancy with a worldwide client list. Previously Barrett led HE Advisory at KPMG, where she remains an Associate. As Education Attaché at the British Embassy in Washington, DC, Barrett was responsible for the transatlantic relationship in education and has worked with the British Council in Malaysia. She has more than 25 years' experience in international recruitment and marketing, student services, international fundraising, alumni, and study abroad. Barrett was the associate dean at Allegheny College, where she directed international student services, study abroad and exchanges, and set up an international student recruitment program. Barrett established the first USA Year Abroad programs at the University of Sheffield and was the first assistant dean at Regent's College in London. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of London, an MBA and a Master’s degree in International Relations from USC.
