Assistant Director, Research & Special Projects

Amy Pojar is the Assistant Director, Research & Special Projects at the UCLA Dashew Center for International Students and Scholars (DCISS). In this role, she manages a diverse portfolio of projects including departmental research and assessment efforts, campus-wide sensitivity training for administrators, workshops for international students, an international service-learning program, and other ad hoc projects as needed. Amy represents DCISS on cross-campus committees related to institutional research, student welfare, and campus climate. She has presented at several professional conferences including those organized by CIES and NAFSA. Amy is currently a Ph.D. candidate specializing in international and comparative education.
