I received my Bachelor's degree in International Affairs with a focus in Third World Politics from Xavier University (OH). Following undergrad, I completed a M.A. in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University and focused on International Education as a graduate assistant in the Office of International Education. Professional areas of interest include service-learning and social justice issues, access of international experiences for first-generation and under-represented groups, and foreign policy.

Meghan Popick, MA

Assistant Director of International Advisement
The Juilliard School

Meg Popick is the Assistant Director of International Advisement at the Juilliard School where she serves as a DSO/ARO. Prior to joining Juilliard, she was an International Student Advisor in the Office of International Education at The Georgia Institute of Technology and an International Student Advising Assistant in Boston College's Office of International Student & Scholar Services. She currently serves Region X's Advocacy Coordinator and was previously Region VII's Regulatory Ombudsperson for Student Issues. She has a master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Boston College and a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Spanish from Fairfield University.

Susan Cuffee

Assistant Director
Fairleigh Dickinson University - Teaneck

Susan Cuffee began her career in international education in the Office of International Student and Scholar Services at the University of Toledo in Northwest Ohio. In 2008 she was promoted to International Student Advisor and Alternate Responsible Officer. In 2011 Susan became an International Education Specialist taking on a role as a study abroad advisor. In 2012 Susan began a new position as Assistant Director of International Student Services at Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) in Teaneck, NJ. As part of her experience in ISSS offices Susan has participated in virtually every department level including student worker, professional support staff and leadership.

Shya M. Erdman

Director, International Student and Scholar Services
Juniata College Center for International Education

Shya Erdman is currently the Director of International Student and Scholar Services at Juniata College, where she serves as the Designated School Official and Alternate Responsible Officer. Her primary role is international student support services, immigration assistance/advising, and programming. Shya is an alumni of the NAFSA Academy class ‘13 and a NAFSA Trainer Corp member.
