G7 - Ten Years of Testing: Introducing Updates to the Certified in Public Health Exam

The Certified in Public Health (CPH) credentialing exam will be updated in 2019 and will focus on testing candidates on competencies essential to the practice of public health. NACCHO members are invited to engage in a discussion about how the CPH exam will be changing, what this will mean for the public health workforce, and how to prepare to become certified under the content outline.

Natioal Board of Public Health Examiners

Allison Foster, MBA, CAE is the President of the National Board of Public Health Examiners which administers the Certified in Public Health (CPH) credential. In this role, she is responsible for NBPHE operations including the administration of the CPH exam and the recertification process.
Allison is also the Deputy Executive Director of the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health, a national membership for public health education. She oversees membership, operational and financial functions of the Association.
