Sarah Ewing, MS, LCGC is a genetic counselor at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota in the Department of Clinical Genomics. Sarah received her BS in Biology from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa in 2012 and her MS in Genetic Counseling from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois in 2015. Sarah began her genetic counseling career with Allina Health at Abbott Northwestern hospital in March of 2015, specializing in hereditary cancer genetics. She transitioned to her current role at Mayo Clinic in January of 2017. Sarah has enjoyed providing genetic counseling services for a variety of indications including cancer, general, and diagnostic odyssey patients. Sarah’s clinical interests lie within hereditary cancer and she serves as the primary cancer genetic counselor for the department. Sarah is actively involved in Mayo’s newly developed partnership with the University of Minnesota Genetic Counseling Program and is the lead supervisor for the cancer genetics rotation.
