Carlin Callaway, DNP MS RN ACNP-BC ACNS-BC AOCNP, a Denver native, has been an oncology nurse since 1997. She has provided care across the entire oncology disease continuum (prevention through survivorship and/or end-of-life).

Carlin earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado, her Masters of Science in Health Care Administration from the University of Maryland University College, and her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Virginia. She completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Colorado.

After 20 years in the Navy, Carlin joined the University of Colorado Cancer Center. She provides survivorship care plans and counseling to patients with solid tumors who have completed curative treatment. She also works in the oncology urgent care clinic one day a week.

Carlin is passionate about providing quality oncology care. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, and traveling.

Marianne Davies, DNP, ACNP, AOCNP®

Assistant Professor & Oncology Nurse Practitioner-Thoracic
Yale University School of Nursing & Medicine

Marianne J. Davies, DNP, ACNP, AOCNP is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Yale University School of Nursing. She is also an Oncology Nurse Practitioner in the Thoracic Unit at Yale Comprehensive Cancer Center. She has multiple years of graduate teaching experience at YSN. She teaches "Transitons to Professional Practice", "Health Promotion across the Lifespan", "Oncology Foundation", "Oncology Symptom Management" and "Oncology Seminar" for Masters Level Nurse Practitioner students. She teaches "Theory and Application of Project Planning" for the DNP students.

She has been in clinical practice as an Oncology Advance Practice Nurse at Yale-New Haven Hospital’s Cancer Center since 1983. She is the Co-Chair of the Yale New Haven Hospital Advanced Practice Nurse Council. The Council focuses on the advancement of clinical practice for all APNs within the institution. Dr. Davies has specifically focused on creating a Peer Review System for the health system network. She is currently working on learning needs assessment for APNs.

She began her nursing education at Russell Sage College in 1983. She continued her education in New Haven, Conn., and received both her Masters and Post Master’s Certificate at YSN. Davies then pursued a Doctorate of Nursing Practice at the MGH Institute of Health Profession in Boston, Mass.
Dr. Davies has presented nationally on the management of patients with lung cancer, immunotherapy and advanced practice nursing. She has several publications.

Anecita P. Fadol, PhD, RN, FNP, FAANP

Associate Professor
MD Anderson Cancer Center

Anecita Fadol, PhD, FNP-BC, FAANP is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing with a joint appointment in the Department of Cardiology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas. As a Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Fadol has an active clinical practice managing the cardiovascular toxicities in patients with cancer and cancer survivors. She has presented at national and international conferences on topics related to cardiotoxicity and cancer therapy. Her research interest are on the cardiovascular complications of cancer therapy and symptom management in patients with cancer and heart failure. She is the editor of the textbook “Cardiac Complications of Cancer Therapy” published by the Oncology Nursing Society, associate editor of the Cardio-Oncology, the official journal of the Global Cardio-Oncology Society, and a fellow of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Carolyn Grande, CRNP

Nurse Practitioner
Abramson Cancer Center

Ms. Grande is an Oncology Nurse Practitioner with 35 years of nursing experience in a variety of oncology settings. She is currently at the Abramson Cancer Center at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania working clinically in The Center for Rare Cancer and Personalized Therapy. Carolyn received her Master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Nursing, in Philadelphia. She lectures nationally and internationally on an extensive list of topics. She has published several book chapters and multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals. She has served as an Associate Editor for the Journal of the Advanced Practitioner in Oncology since its inception in 2010. Ms. Grande is a member of the Advanced Practitioner Society of Hematology Oncology where she is currently the Chair-elect of the Education Committee. She is also a member of the Oncology Nursing Society and American Society of Clinical Oncology.
