Dr. Kurtin is a Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine, and Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing at The University of Arizona Cancer Center in Tucson. She has 33 years of oncology experience. She maintains a busy clinical practice with expertise in hematological malignancies, clinical trials, symptom management, supportive care, caregiver support, and health informatics. She will defend her PhD dissertation at the University of Arizona in the Fall of 2018. Ms Kurtin is a founding board member for APSHO, and an active member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Oncology Nursing Society. Ms. Kurtin serves on a number of patient advocay boards, professional working groups, and editorial boards for peer-reviewed publications relevant to oncology and supportive care. She is widely published in peer-reviewed journals and lectures nationally and internationally.

Dr. Jenny Knight is a pathologist with Pathology Consultants of Greenville in Greenville, SC and a clinical assistant professor with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine - Greenville. She recieved her medical doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine - Columbia. Her anatomic and cliical pathology residency training was completed at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN where she then stayed for a surgical pathology fellowship. Further fellowship training in hematopathology was completed at the University of New Mexico and Tricore Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM. She is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and hematopathology.

Gabrielle Zecha, PA-C, MHA, is the Director of the Advanced Practice Provider Program at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance where she provides direction and oversight for over 150 physician assistants and nurse practitioners. She is also a practicing oncology PA in Hematologic Malignancies. She received her BS in Clinical Health Services (PA) from the University of Washington in 1997 and her MHA in 2012. She has spent 20 years in Oncology in a diverse array of settings including Stem Cell Transplant, General Oncology and Hematologic Malignancies.

Gabrielle is dedicated to developing new leaders in Oncology as our health system evolves and utilizes more Advanced Practice Providers in every area of Oncology. In 2018, her team welcomed the first cohort of APP Fellows in Oncology and Stem Cell Transplant. The SCCA was the proud recipient of the Center for Healthcare Leadership and Management’s “Employer of Excellence” award in May 2018.
