Rebecca Nelson, PharmD, BCOP

Pharmacy Supervisor for Malignant Hematology Division
Moffitt Cancer Center

Dr. Nelson is the Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator for the Malignant Hematology division at Moffitt Cancer Center. She currently supervises a team of hematology pharmacists in both the inpatient and clinic settings. She has experience in multiple practice areas, and has been involved in numerous process improvement projects. She received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Pharmacy and her Bachelors of Science in Molecular Biology and Microbiology from the University of Central Florida. She completed two years of post-graduate residency training at Moffitt Cancer Center and went on to receive her Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy. She is a member of multiple professional originations, including the Hematology Oncology Pharmacy Association and the American Society of Health- System Pharmacists.

Megan May, PharmD, BCOP

Clinical Oncology Pharmacy Specialist
Baptist Health Lexington

Dr. May is a Clinical Oncology Pharmacy Specialists at Baptist Health Lexington’s Cancer Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She is a Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist. In addition to direct patient care, Dr. May plays an active role in the education of pharmacy students and residents. She is on multiple committees at Baptist Health Lexington, including Cancer Committee and the Institutional Review Board. Dr. May received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Samford University’s McWhorter School of Pharmacy in Birmingham, Alabama and completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at Shands Jacksonville Medical Center and a Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. She is the author of multiple review articles, has presented research posters, and has given presentations both regionally and nationally.
