Lisa S. Panisch, MSW, is currently a first-year doctoral and research assistant for the Treatment of Pateints with Dissociative Disorders (TOP DD) Study. With a broad focus on childhood trauma and health outcomes, her research investigates relationships between childhood sexual abuse and women's health. She is particularly interested in the role of dissociation in women's health issues related to inflammation, autoimmunity, and the vagal system. Lisa draws upon her experience in the field as a provider of clinical neurofeedback, a research and educational training consultant on childhood trauma for ACE Interface, and former teacher to ground her work.
