Dr. Robert A. Lookstein - Biography
Robert A. Lookstein, MD MHCDL FSIR FAHA FSVM, is Professor of Radiology and Surgery in the Division of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS). In 1995 he graduated from the State University of New York and completed his radiology residency and fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at ISMMS. In 2002 Dr. Lookstein joined the ISMMS division of Vascular and Interventional Radiology as Faculty.

Dr. Lookstein is the Clinical Director and Chief of the Division of Interventional Radiology serving on committees within the Mount Sinai Health System related to patient safety and quality, novel procedure oversight, cardiovascular disease intervention value analysis and performance improvement.

Lecture topics include: peripheral arterial imaging and intervention, endovascular interventions, aortic stent-grafts and deep vein thrombosis. He is recognized as an innovator in the field of peripheral vascular disease and noninvasive vascular imaging. His clinical practice focuses on diagnosis and treatment of peripheral vascular disease.

Dr. Lookstein is a Member of the Steering Committee of the American Heart Association's Council on Peripheral Vascular Disease and serves as the Chair of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) service line for peripheral arterial disease. Meeting participations include: The International Society of Endovascular Therapy, Advanced Interventional Management, The Society of Interventional Radiology Annual Scientific Meeting, The Radiologic Society of North America, VIVA and Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics. He is the Program Director of national education courses including Lower Extremity Arterial Revascularization (LEARN) and TransRadial EndovAscular Therapy (TREAT).

Constantino S. Peña, MD is an interventional radiologist at the Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute at Baptist Hospital in Miami Florida where he also serves as the Medical Director of Vascular Imaging. Dr. Peña earned his B.S. and M.S. from the Stanford University Department of Biology in Palo Alto, Calif., prior to earning his medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology in 1999 as well as a Vascular and Interventional fellowship in 2000 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Mass. An educator, Dr. Peña is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Florida International University College of Medicine in Miami as well as an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. He has served on several committees for many professional organizations, presently serving on the RADInfo Committee of the ACR and RSNA, the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), the Chair of the Cardiovascular Radiology & Intervention Council of the American Heart Association (AHA) and the Vascular and Interventional Subcommittee Scientific Program Committee (SPC) for the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). Dr. Peña is also a member of several other professional organizations including the SIR, RSNA, ACR, SCCT, SIDI and NASCI.
