3210 - Best Practices for Identity and Access Management for Public Cloud

Wednesday, October 10
9:45 AM - 10:45 AM
Location: Floor 3: Mardi Gras: Salon D

We take our audience on a deep dive into best practices of identity and access management for the public cloud. We shall start with principles behind robust access controls and then demo those in action on popular cloud platforms, such as AWS. The goal of our session is to provide some actionable ideas that enrich and enable the attendees to adopt the concepts in their own environments.

While some of the best practices are universal, the presenters shall use real-life examples and tradeoffs while implementing the best practices and how to overcome challenges that are common for enterprise-scale implementations. People aspects can have profound impact in security designs and we shall focus on it as well.
