Dr Isobel Fullwood MBChB MRCPCH, I am a Paediatrics trainee based in the West Midlands, UK and have taken an out of programme year working as a Simulation Fellow for the Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust, which involves running multidisciplinary simulation sessions in a variety of clinical areas including NICU, PICU, general paediatrics and the emergency department.

Dr. Lobos is an Assistant professor at the University of Ottawa, Department of Pediatrics and Division of Critical Care. In addition to her role as a pediatric intensivist at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), she is the Pediatric Critical Care Program Director, the Medical Director of CHEO’s Medical Emergency Team and the Medical Director of Simulation at CHEO. Her interest in interprofessional education and the recognition of acute illness has led her to present at national and international conferences and publish numerous papers on the Ontario Medical Emergency Team experience. Dr. Lobos is also the co-chair of CHEO’s Early Response and Resuscitation Committee which works to create hospital wide policies and education programs focused on the recognition and management of the acutely ill child. Dr. Lobos’ research in simulation focuses on using simulation and debriefing to understand the challenges in treating acutely ill children and improving care delivery.

Mary E McBride, MD, MEd is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Medical Education at Northwestern Univeristy Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, United States of America. She has an appointment in the Divisions of Cardiology and Critical Care Medicine. She is an attending physician in the Regenstein Cardiac Care Unit at the Ann & Robert H Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. She is the Director of Critical Care Education and a member of the leadership team in the KiSTAR Simulation program. She is the Associate Fellowship Director in Pediatric Cardiology and the Program Director so the Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Fellowship program.

Jessica Sexton, BSN, BS, RN, CPEN, is the clinical coordinator for network development and an associate clinical director of network nursing for SimPEDS at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Before becoming a nurse, she was an AmeriCorps volunteer with the American Red Cross where she developed and coordinated disaster relief simulations. She has worked as a pediatric emergency department nurse at both The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Boston Children’s Hospital.

Jessica’s research experience includes educational and technology interventions to improve the quality of emergency nursing care, the use of simulation to improve the quality and safety of expanding hospital networks, and the phenomena of moral distress and resiliency in nursing.

Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Simmons College and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biotechnology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She is currently enrolled in a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from West Texas A&M University.

Ashley is a Paediatric Simulation Fellow working at New Cross Hospital in the West Midlands region of the United Kingdom. The post is in its third year and has been presenting work both nationally and internationally during that time. Ashley is currently in Paediatric training in the West Midlands and became interested in simulation as a candidate when seeing the benefits it brought to the team and how it combined with existing interests in education. Other areas of interest include General Paediatrics and inter-speciality working. He is undertaking a Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare Simulation at the University of Birmingham to supplement the Simulation Fellow post.

She has been involved in IPSS for many years, serving on the BOD, as treasurer, and is currently transitioning to the immediate past president role.
