Erosion and Sediment Control

Case Study

A Fundamental Approach to Understanding Polymer Enhanced Best Management Practices and How to Correctly Apply them in the Field to Achieve Optimal Performance

Wednesday, February 14

PDH: 1

Location: 102B

Level of Presentation: All: Suitable for a broad audience

Polymers have become an integral part of erosion and sediment control and stormwater management and yet so often we miss the basics of how they are correctly used and applied properly in the field. This is a case study guided presentation to illustrate how Polymer Enhanced Best Management Practices are used effectively to achieve optimal results. Multiple case studies will be shown that cover polymer enhanced soil stabilization, polymers used in water treatment systems, dust control, demucking applications and standard specified BMPs that are proven to be more effective when enhanced with PAM based technologies.
