Erosion and Sediment Control

Case Study

Qualification, Mapping and Follow Up of Water Erosion Risk Along a Flowline

Monday, February 12
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

PDH: 1

Location: 101A

Level of Presentation: All: Suitable for a broad audience

This presentation will display two methodologies to qualify water erosion risk for longitudinal works (typically a fuel flowline): in the first place, an a priori analysis and mapping of water erosion risk; in the second place, a real time follow up of water erosion risk at critical points. They are illustrated through application to a flowline through the Peruvian Amazonian jungle.
