Manager of Special Programs
Michelle Zambrano is a bilingual professional with over 12 years of experience in community development, community outreach, and program implementation. As a Program Manager for Health Leads, Michelle has managed direct service programs based in pediatric and women’s health clinics throughout NY and is currently overseeing year two of the WIC Outreach Pilot Program in partnership with NYC Health and Hospitals and the Robin Hood Foundation. She also serves as the Screening Subject Matter Expert at Health Leads and has provided training and guidance for health care institutions around the country on best practices in screening for patients’ essential needs.
Michelle is a member of the Nassau County Department of Social Services Advisory Board and the NYC SNAP Task Force. She graduated from SUNY Purchase with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Modern American Literature and Spanish Language and Culture.
